Description: Responsibilities include helping students develop skills to perform scientific investigation, critical thinking and effective problem-solving. The specific assignment associated with this position will depend upon the strengths and experiences of the candidate and the needs of the building. Courses will be in Chemistry and Physics.
Qualifications: Nebraska Department of Education Teacher Certification with Science Endorsement
Salary: The school district pays based on a Negotiated Pay Scale determined by degree and years of experience.
Benefits: PLCS pays 100% of the healthcare premium for employee only PPO insurance plans and all high deductible plans. PLCS pays 93% of the premium for all other PPO plans. Through the Nebraska School Employees Retirement System, 9.78% of the gross salary is deposited into a retirement account. The District matches the contribution at the rate of 101%.
