H2O Innovation is looking for a Lab Technician (water treatment, reverse osmosis membranes, ultrafiltration/microfiltration) who can work independently, demonstrate strong organizational skills, effectively manages multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment, and consistently maintains a professional and positive attitude toward team members. The Lab Technician will hold a full‑time position at H2O Innovation Specialty Chemicals and Services division, located in Vista, CA.

• Perform membrane (RO/NF, MF/UF) and filter dissections;
• Collect and analyse samples of membrane and foulants to identify chemical composition;
• Conduct various tests to evaluate membrane integrity and performance on lab‑scale and full‑scale membrane systems;
• Maintain database for sample reception and services completed;
• Box and palletise membrane elements for shipping;
• Perform cleaning studies to determine the efficacy of various cleaning solutions, salt/chemical solution mixing, and water analysis in a wet lab setting;
• Assist in writing and presenting technical documents;
• Support in other laboratory functions;
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment.

• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines;
• Minimum of associate’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or similar is required;
• Previous water/wet laboratory or chemical handling related experience (1‑2 years) required;
• Excellent hands‑on skills;
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
• Able to regularly lift up to 50lbs;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Experience in collecting and analysing data obtained from FTIR, SEM, EDX, and XPS techniques (preferred);
• Basic understanding of RO processes and membrane‑based water treatment systems (preferred).
