As a Software Engineer – Robotics specialist, you design, integrate, and commission advanced robotic software solutions within our machinery. You work on projects from concept to delivery, where precision and innovation are key.

Key Responsibilities    Design & Integration:  Translate customer requirements into technical robotic concepts and integrate them into new or existing machines.
Programming:  Design and develop software for industrial robot control.
Commissioning:  Test, fine‑tune, and install systems on‑site (FAT/SAT).
Optimization:  Analyze process data to improve robot control performance.
Troubleshooting:  Resolve complex issues at the intersection of hardware and software.

A salary between €3,500 and €5,100 gross per month (based on a 40‑hour workweek). Further salary growth is possible through specialization or career development.
27 vacation days and 13 additional leave days (ADV) in accordance with the Metalektro collective labour agreement. The option to “sell” unused ADV days each year.
A fixed monthly commuting allowance of €0.23 per kilometre.
A solid pension plan with PME, with 50% of the contributions covered by Royal Houdijk.

Qualifications  You are a technically driven professional with a passion for robotics and machine building. You combine strong analytical skills with a hands‑on mindset and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges. With your expertise and curiosity, you continuously look for ways to improve systems and push technological boundaries.
A completed university degree (MSc) in Robotics, Systems & Control, or Applied Physics.
At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in machine building or robot integration.

Experience with PLC systems (Rockwell Automation).
Knowledge of Python and/or C# is a strong plus.
Analytically strong, enjoys technical challenges, and willing to occasionally work on‑site at customer locations.
Willingness to travel internationally, with a maximum of 20% per year.
Excellent command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
May be required to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) as part of the application process.
