Responsibilities Test machines through software, electronic, and mechanical adjustments to ensure they operate according to contract specifications.
Participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and verify that machines meet expectations.
Assist in assembling installations that can be as large as half a football field and commission them at customer sites.
Carry out final fine‑tuning and present completed machines to customers.
Travel with technicians to support project completion; typical visits last two to three weeks and may involve spending roughly half the year overseas.
Be ultimately responsible for around three to four projects per year, ensuring at least 99.8% efficiency.
Diagnose under‑performance issues and determine appropriate solutions, contributing to design improvements when necessary.
Qualifications MBO level4 or HBO diploma in a technical field.
Experience in mechanical and electrical machine construction.
Experience with dynamic drive systems and modern PLC control technologies.
Knowledge of Rockwell and Beckhoff systems is a plus.
Good communication skills in Dutch and English.
Willingness to travel abroad regularly, often on short notice for 2–4 week periods.
Enthusiasm for representing Royal Houdijk to customers and colleagues.
Ability to independently manage work abroad and adapt to local norms and practices.
Benefits Base salary between €3,980 and €5,300 per month (based on a 40‑hour week).
