The School Psychologist conducts psychological assessments of students with learning and emotional difficulties and consults with other staff members and parents/guardians in order to provide such students with appropriate instruction. The School Psychologist provides individual and group counseling to special needs students as per their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The School Psychologists works cooperatively with school district personnel including principals, district supervisors, teachers and Child Study Team members.
Qualifications- Valid NJ certification as a School Psychologist
Ten (10) month contract
SalaryTo be established by the Board of Education determined by placement on the teacher’s salary guide for (BA, Step 1, - $60,464 – MA +60, Step 16, $112,5 56) commensurate with experience and qualifications. Medical, dental, Rx and vision benefits are offered. Employees will contribute an amount toward health benefit premiums in accordance with an established table. The amount of contribution will be determined by the type of coverage (i.e. – single, family), the amount of the total premium assessed for coverage and the amount of the employee’s salary.
