About the Role

As Director of Oncology Services, you will:

  • Direct quality improvement initiatives, manage all accreditation and reaccreditation processes, and oversee multidisciplinary cancer conferences.
  • Ensure all oncology programs are evidence‑based and compliant with standards from The Joint Commission, the American College of Surgeons, NCCN, NAPBC, and NAPRC.
  • Provide operational leadership for Clinical Research, Cancer Registry, and co‑lead the Comprehensive Lung Program.
  • Support the Vice President of Oncology with data‑driven insights to inform vision, strategy, and tactical planning.
  • Oversee the Referral to Care Program with Penn Medicine, ensuring seamless patient access to advanced care.
  • Oversee accurate cancer data reporting and analytics to inform planning and performance.
  • Provide administrative oversight for CME activities and partnerships with Penn Medicine.
  • Manage budgets, policies, and resources to achieve operational excellence.
  • Lead a team of 18 FTEs, fostering collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications
  • Education:

    BSN or bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree preferred (Business or Quality focus). Oncology Certified Nurse preferred.
  • Licensure:
    Current NJ RN license required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2–5 years in healthcare quality and data analytics, including people management.
    • Leadership experience required; oncology experience preferred.
    • Accreditation, registry, and clinical research oversight experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills:

    Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical abilities. Professional certification in quality or healthcare management desirable.
