- At least 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting
- Deliver direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for acute care patients
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
