Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and competency in both PCU and ICU settings.
Responsibilities- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
- Floating required between PCU and ICU across five hospitals as needed
- Schedule originates from the PCU
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) coverage is required
- Uses Epic EMR, experience preferred
- Float pool includes multiple hospitals, requiring adaptability to various acute care settings
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application and cannot be changed after submission
- Block scheduling is not permitted
- Local rate applies for candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital
- Active NJ or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years PCU or ICU experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with no exemptions allowed
- Epic experience preferred
- First time travelers are accepted but not preferred
