• Provide outstanding customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address concerns within the healthcare environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed while maintaining security‑related protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures, maintaining clear and accurate records for management review.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or emergencies, following established protocols and maintaining professionalism at all times.

• Must have a combined total of at least three years of law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience or possess a college degree.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Must participate in industry‑specific security‑related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
