As an Account Manager at Thermaflex, you play a key role in developing new business and strengthening sustainable customer relationships in the Netherlands and Belgium. You are the main point of contact for architects, installers, and engineering firms, connecting customer needs with innovative solutions in pre-insulated pipe systems.

Your role as Account Manager

As Account Manager, you are responsible for generating new sales opportunities and expanding market share in the Netherlands (90%) and Belgium (10%).

Your key activities:

  • Focus 70% on acquiring new customers and 30% on maintaining existing relationships, mainly with installers, architects, and engineering firms.
  • Advise customers on the use of pre-insulated pipe systems, including specifications and installation requirements.
  • Collaborate with customers during the specification and design process, providing technical input.
  • Follow up on projects from design to completion, monitoring commercial progress along the way.
  • Preparing quotations, following up on them, and converting them into orders are part of your duties.
  • Coordinate internally with colleagues from engineering, calculation, and logistics to deliver customer-oriented solutions.
  • Identify market developments, customer needs, and competitor activities through your strong market insight.
  • Contribute to marketing campaigns, trade fairs, and events to strengthen the visibility of Thermaflex.
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager.
What do you bring as an Account Manager?
  • A minimum of secondary vocational education (MBO) level; a degree in mechanical engineering, installation technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with underground infrastructure, sustainable heating and cooling networks, or industrial installations is essential.
  • Experience may also come from a technical inside sales position or as an end user.
  • You are proficient in Dutch;
    English is a plus.
  • Preferably, you live centrally in the Netherlands, within travel distance of Waalwijk.
  • Willingness to travel within the Netherlands and Belgium.
