Position: Full Time Third Grade Teacher

St. Bernard is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and faith-filled 3rd Grade Teacher to join our dynamic faculty for the 2025-26 school year. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic with a strong understanding of elementary education best practices and a commitment to integrating Catholic values into all aspects of the curriculum. The 3rd Grade Teacher will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment that fosters academic growth, spiritual development, and social-emotional well-being in our students.

• Willing to consistently collaborate with peers to ensure the correct implementation of Indiana Academic Standards and the Diocesan Curriculum.
• Possess the ability to plan differentiated lessons to reach learners at all ability levels.
• Be comfortable with utilizing technology to complement instruction and the student learning process. (Chromebooks, wireless projector, desktops, etc.)
• Communicate consistently and professionally with students, parents, staff, and administration.
• Possess an active Indiana teaching license.
• Complete all aspects of the required Diocesan Teacher Application.

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification for the state of Indiana.
• Demonstrated knowledge of elementary education curriculum and best practices.
• Experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably in a Catholic school setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
