New opportunity-Quality Engineer!

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join the team of a stable and well-established manufacturer in the Wabash, IN area. The Quality Engineer will play a critical role in driving product quality, process improvement, and operational excellence. This position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on manufacturing performance while working for a company with a strong reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support quality initiatives across manufacturing operations

• Ensure compliance with quality systems, customer requirements, and applicable standards

• Utilize data-driven analysis to identify trends and drive continuous improvement

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Support internal and external audits

• Partner cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Operations teams

• Maintain and improve quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions

• Drive structured problem-solving efforts and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required

• Minimum of 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong working knowledge of quality systems requirements and auditing principles

• Proficiency with Minitab and statistical analysis tools

• Demonstrated experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies

• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred)

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
