Responsibilities- Guide and instruct team members in craftsmanship and safety standards
- Utilize measurement equipment and CAM software supporting CNC machines (Mills, Lathes, Grinders, EDM)
- Train and mentor current team members and interns
- Establish workflows and set priorities to meet lead times
- Troubleshoot equipment and report work progress to customers
- Review and approve blueprints and schematics for assets and projects
- Foster professionalism and mutual respect through leadership activities
- Conduct evaluations and staff assessments
- Implement lean manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency
- Maintain a commitment to quality
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical discipline and 4-10 years of supervisory experience. The role requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, office activities, and hand tool operation.
