Great opportunity for a Process Engineer to work for an innovative paper manufacturing company located in Wabash, IN.
This Plant Engineer will be responsible for Improving the design and flow of manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
Responsibilities- Improve and design manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce costs
- Evaluate equipment performance and implement corrective actions
- Conduct quality tests and inspections to ensure product reliability
- Troubleshoot operational issues and drive root‑cause solutions
- Integrate new technologies and sustainability practices into production
- Lead and support department personnel while maintaining strong union/management relationships
- Promote safety and enforce plant policies, including OSHA compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical training
- 2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or process‑focused role
- Paper mill or process manufacturing environment experience highly preferred
- Mid-Senior level
