Cost Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Job Cost Accountant for a full-time, on-site role located in College Station / Waco / Killeen, TX.

In this role, you will handle day-to-day accounting activities including cost tracking and analysis, preparing and analyzing financial statements, posting journal entries, and supporting financial processes. You will work closely with team members to ensure accurate cost accounting and adherence to financial regulations, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficiency of the organization.

• Proficiency in Cost Accounting and experience in analyzing and managing job-related costs
• Familiarity with preparing and reviewing financial statements and journal entries
• Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail for interpreting data and making informed decisions
• Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and Finance-related practices
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in construction or restoration industries is a plus
