Job DescriptionThe Field Unit material coordinator is responsible for the management of non-stock listed spares for Big Safari field site requirements, distribution of indicative data changes, weekly status reports, Total Authorized Quantity (TAQ) management, due-in from maintenance (DIFM) management, and overall general field site matters. The coordinator will also perform duties associated with processing requirements of the Intergated Logistics Supply (ILS‑S) system.
Essential Functions- Able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
- Experience in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Big Safari Inventory Management System preferred.
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Must be available for on‑call coverage. Reporting within 1 hour
- Occasional travel required – approximately 10%
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Able to work overtime when needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to participate in discussions with customers both internal and external regarding depot materials requirements
