Job Description

TSTC faculty deliver approved curriculum, content, and assessments in an applied learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Facilitate activities and discussions that engage diverse learning styles with targeted guidance and mentorship
• Interpret and administer assessments, offering constructive feedback to support student growth and learning outcomes
• Integrate technology effectively to enrich educational experiences
• Act as ambassadors for their programs and TSTC
• Demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with all stakeholders

Key instructional duties:

• Prepare and deliver high quality instruction and facilitate student learning
• Develop appropriate course syllabi, instructional plans, and organize daily classes with creative techniques
• Maintain accurate student records and uphold instructional environment safety
• Advise students, provide timely information, and collaborate with the Office of Student Success
• Participate in recruitment events and assist in program planning
• Demonstrate teamwork, courtesy, and flexibility for evening, weekend or summer assignments

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Certifications Or Licenses

• Verifiable work experience in the automation/manufacturing industry
• Strong Electrical/programming skills

• Maintenance of Industrial equipment
• Robotic Systems
• PLC Programming
• Machine Interfacing
• Industrial Safety

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Certifications Or Licenses

• Fanuc Handling Tool Cert
• Fanuc IR-Vision Cert

Education And Experience

• Verifiable professional experience may be accepted in lieu of other requirements as approved by the Vice Chancellor who oversees academic programs.
• Associate degree in a closely related field and demonstrated qualifications in the technology’s teaching discipline.

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in a closely related teaching discipline
