- Provide field sales technical assistance and product recommendations. This includes plant surveys, proposal preparation, sales presentations, application testing and customer/prospect entertainment.
- Applying knowledge of polymer chemistry and polymer uses and testing procedures.
- Provide expertise to Chem Treat sales representatives in product screening and treatment program selection, the application of chosen treatment programs, and in troubleshooting treatment programs to meet the customer’s cost and performance objectives in the area of chemical/refining and Food & Beverage.
- Travel throughout the continental U.S. on an average of three days/two nights per week.
- Provide field troubleshooting and technical assistance as required. This assistance includes problem solving, sales representative on‑site training, operator training, and equipment inspections.
- Bachelor of Arts/Sciences or Master’s degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related fields is required.
- Ten+ years of field experience in water and wastewater treatment will be considered as an equivalent to a four‑year degree.
- Five or more years’ experience with a major water treatment company.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue‑based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
Salary range: $145,000 - $155,000 USD per year.
Benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
