Brief Description

Experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC systems and SCADA platforms (e.g., Ignition) for monitoring utility systems, automation status, and production processes.
Knowledge of electrical theory, including AC/DC circuits, industrial control systems, automation controls, and SCADA-based process systems.
Experience troubleshooting automation and controls failures in production environments and implementing corrective actions to minimize operational downtime.
Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment, including voltmeters, ammeters, and related instruments, to evaluate and resolve system performance issues.
Knowledge of SAP for parts tracking, inventory management, and maintenance support activities.
Knowledge of automation standards, controls engineering practices, and production system reliability methodologies.
General knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
Experience supporting automation strategy, system optimization, equipment reliability, and process improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments.
Experience balancing hands-on troubleshooting of production automation systems with planning and implementation of long-term controls engineering or automation improvements.
Experience supporting highly automated, high-throughput manufacturing operations where automation reliability, production continuity, and system uptime are critical to operational performance.
