Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring an energetic and growth-minded Assistant Director of Dining Services for the campus Chick-fil-A and Panda Express. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day food service operations of the campus Chick-fil-A and Panda Express. You will manage and lead a team of associates, and will be responsible for talent development, managing client relationships, profitability, and supporting financial goals of these retail dining brands.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Work with the operations management team in creating nutritious and top‑quality food.
- Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the client.
- Manage, train, and develop associates.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1 to 3 years of food service management experience.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Financial experience and business acumen.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet.
- Associate’s degree preferred.
