Lead Recruiter, Corporate Functions at Hirewell

6-Month Contract | 40 Hours/Week

Our client, Van Tran, a leading manufacturer of electric transformers, is partnering with Hirewell to hire a Contract High-Volume Recruiter to support ongoing warehouse and operations hiring at their Waco, TX facility.

This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments and enjoys top‑of‑funnel recruiting—getting candidates excited, scheduling interviews, and keeping the hiring process moving efficiently.

Location

Waco, TX

• 6‑month contract
• 40 hours per week
• Fully onsite (Monday–Friday)

What You’ll Be Recruiting For

• Warehouse Associates
• Maintenance Technicians
• Other non‑exempt, operations‑based roles

This environment includes a heavy Spanish‑speaking population
, so bilingual experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support high‑volume, non‑exempt recruiting in a warehouse/manufacturing setting
• Focus primarily on top‑of‑funnel recruiting
  , including:
• Outreach and candidate engagement
• Initial conversations to generate interest
• Interview scheduling and coordination
• Partner closely with onsite leadership to understand hiring needs and priorities
• Maintain accurate candidate tracking and scheduling
• Keep hiring moving quickly in a fast‑paced environment

Preferred Background

• Experience recruiting non‑exempt, hourly roles in high volume
• Background in warehouse, manufacturing, operations, or similar environments
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
• Open to candidates with recruiting experience in:
• High‑volume staffing
• Customer service or call‑center recruiting
• Entry‑level or operations recruiting
• Strong communication skills and comfort engaging candidates by phone and in person
• Ability to thrive onsite and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
