Description
ONBOARDING SPECIALIST
Job SummaryThe Onboarding Coordinator observes, trains tuyểnểu and coaches all new hires within their first 60 days. They are responsible for the successful performance and goal achievement related to workplace safety, food safety/quality, and production requirements of new hires within the facility's Onboarding Program. The Onboarding Coordinator works to build relationships between new hires and production management. The onboarding coordinator is required to meet with production management weekly to review the new hires' performance and training plan.
The Onboarding Coordinator is to spend 90% of their time on the floor, with 10% off the floor to handle administrative duties. The administrative duties are to include:
- Daily new hire check‑in forms
- Weekly reports
- Company people pillar check‑in
- Any other duties assigned
- Ensures that safety is a condition. Complies with, and enforces, all safety directives.
- Manages the overall experience of new hires from day 1 to 60 days or when the new hire becomes qualified, whichever comes first.
- Demonstrates hands‑on training techniques during the onboarding period and makes recommendations to the Onboarding Supervisor about individual training needs, concerns, and special circumstances.
- Administers and tracks all new hire floor training to include hours of training per week, qualification status, attendance, turnover, fostering new hire/supervisor relationship, and other duties as assigned.
- Develops and promotes positive working relationships with new hires, peers, and leaders.
- Meets with supervisors, Human Resources, and foolish to review production processes and new‑hire performance.
- Fulfills the following key performance indicators: 30‑ and 60‑day retention, minimum of 2 safety observations per week, 30‑day GLINT survey, and other metrics as assigned.
- Meets the following expectations: instills all Pilgrims' values, does not work on the line, does not move new hires, completes all training documents, ensures trainees are qualified in a timely manner, ensures weekly meetings with new hires and management are completed, follows up with the superintendent and training supervisor on any new‑hire issues, focuses all attention and resources on new hires and their velocidad during onboarding.

- Capable of working in hot/cold areas, standing for long periods of time, and performing all jobs in the Signing area; successful candidates spend 90‑95% of their time on the production floor with new hires.
- Knowledgeable in all duties of the specific department.
- Previous training experience preferred.
- Has a great attendance record and is in good standing.
