We are seeking Platform Engineers who are passionate about creating and supporting Dev Ops tools with emerging technologies to join our team.

As a Platform Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

General Responsibilities:

• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

• Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating HR value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business

• Deliver solutions in Workday Recruiting, through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards

• Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners

• Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with HR partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.

• Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday updates, fixes and capabilities

• Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation

• Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective

• Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

• At least 4 years of experience using build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Git Hub, or Artifactory)

• At least 2 years of experience with AWS

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Workday functional configuration (Recruiting, HCM)

• Experience working in an agile delivery environment using JIRA

• Workday Certification in Recruiting

• 2+ years of experience with Workday Security and Workday Reporting

• 1+ years of experience in loading data using Enterprise Interface Builders (EIB’s)

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

MA: $127,500 - $145,500 for Senior Platform Engineer

McLean, VA: $127,500 - $145,500 for Senior Platform Engineer

Plano, TX: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer

Richmond, VA: $115,900 - $132,200 for Senior Platform Engineer

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).

Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
