Director of Technology

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 7 years of experience in technology leadership.
• 5 years of managerial experience leading technical teams.
• Proven success in e-commerce technology strategy and digital transformation , supporting at least $50M in revenue
  .
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, security standards, data analytics, middleware, and IT budgeting
  .
• Must be available for on-call support as needed
  .

The Director of Technology oversees the development, optimization, and implementation of e-commerce technology solutions to support business growth. This role leads a team of engineers and developers to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure systems that enhance the customer experience and drive operational excellence . The primary technologies include Azure, Google Suite, Net Suite, Salesforce, and Shopify across Mac and Windows environments.

This position is onsite in Waco, Texas , reporting to the Vice President of Technology and Supply Chain , with supervisory responsibilities

• Align technology strategy with business objectives, collaborating with leadership.
• Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for e-commerce technology.
• Oversee system architecture, design, and implementation to ensure performance and scalability.
• Optimize e-commerce platforms and associated technologies to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR) and develop business continuity protocols

• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Utilize KPIs, analytics, and performance metrics for data-driven decision-making.
• Manage vendor relationships and procure cost-effective technology solutions.
• Implement best practices in project management, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
