Waco, TX (full-time onsite)

Compensation: $95,000 On Target Earnings (80-85K base, 10%+ Individual Yearly Performance Bonus)

Relocation: $5,000 reimbursable relocation coverage – relocation candidates welcome!

Summary:

Are you a hands‑on accounting professional who thrives on leading teams and supporting strategic decision‑making? We’re looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, reporting, and day‑to‑day accounting while partnering with leadership to drive business performance.

• Lead a small team across accounting, payroll, AP/AR, and administrative functions.
• Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage audits, tax filings, and financial statement preparation.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with retail and operations teams to optimize processes and support daily business operations.
• Prepare board and lender reports, and help present key financial insights to leadership.
• Mentor and develop your team, fostering a high‑performing and collaborative environment.

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience; bachelor’s in accounting or finance required (CPA a plus).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, audits, payroll, AP/AR, and monthly close processes.
• Proficiency in accounting systems, Excel, and reporting tools.
• Experience leading a team and developing staff through coaching and mentorship.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Confident communicator, able to present financial insights to senior leadership.
