Proficiency in mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLC/automation troubleshooting; SAP experience preferred; food safety standards (Safe Quality Food/SQF).
We are seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Manager to lead and actively participate in the maintenance operations of a high-speed manufacturing facility. This role combines leadership with direct technical involvement to ensure plant equipment and utilities operate at peak performance. Responsible for driving preventative and predictive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and delivering effective solutions to maximize uptime and production efficiency.
This position requires a strong mechanical and electrical background, experience in preventative maintenance, and a proven ability to lead teams while remaining engaged on the plant floor.
- Hands‑On Maintenance & Troubleshooting – Work alongside maintenance technicians to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal equipment downtime. Lead by example on the production floor, providing technical guidance and support during repairs and maintenance activities. Oversee the operation and maintenance of plant utilities to meet production needs reliably and efficiently.
- Preventative Maintenance & Optimization – Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and longevity. Identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements to optimize performance and reduce unplanned downtime. Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Provide hands‑on training and coaching to enhance team technical skills and performance.
Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to support 24/7 plant operations effectively. - Safety, Quality & Compliance – Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and company safety standards. Actively participate in safety initiatives and lead efforts to investigate and resolve safety concerns on the floor. Support adherence to food safety requirements and maintain documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Capital Projects & Equipment Installation – Coordinate and execute the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring maintainability and efficient operation. Work closely with production teams to modify equipment and work areas for improved functionality and throughput.
