The Aircraft Mechanical Assembly and Installation Technician is responsible for the flat pattern layout, fabrication, and installation of mechanical parts and assemblies on aircraft in accordance with drawings, technical manuals, or other written instructions to complete assigned work.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Perform sheet metal fabrication modifications, mechanical/electrical modifications, installations, aircraft inspections or repairs, sometimes in confined spaces.
• Willingness and ability to learn Electrical Assembly and Installation in compliance with written policies, procedures, and other instructions.
• Full understanding of technical drawings and aircraft maintenance manuals.
• Familiarity with general industry standards on quality expectations.
• Knowledge of general aircraft sheet metal fabrication and assembly principles and techniques.
• Ability to lead projects with minimal oversight.
• Willingness and ability to teach team members.
• Ability to be certified to operate vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to work overtime, any shift, and weekends as required to meet business objectives.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 4 years aircraft mechanical assembly and installation experience.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment background, drug, and medical screening; subject to FAA requirements and random substance abuse screening.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A&P license.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong team member.
• Proven ability to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
