Job Description & How to Apply Below
Somewhere between the whiteboard sketch and the green deploy badge is the Enterprise Architect role we're opening in Waco, TX. The center of gravity here is ownership — $88,000 - $129,000 and a temporary schedule orbit it, and 6 years gets you in the door.
Key Responsibilities- Refactor the technology module Sustainable Solutions Inc has been afraid to touch
- Configure and manage infrastructure as code across staging and production
- Decide when to buy Django versus build it for Sustainable Solutions Inc's Waco, TX stack
- Lead the PHP migration that finally retires Sustainable Solutions Inc's people-first legacy stack
- Decode the undocumented Creativity service nobody at Sustainable Solutions Inc remembers writing
- Respond to on-call rotations and participate in incident postmortems
- Hand off Next.js runbooks so the next on-call at Sustainable Solutions Inc sleeps better
- Reverse-engineer the quietly-ambitious .NET Core format Sustainable Solutions Inc inherited and never documented
- A community-minded attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- A growth mindset that treats feedback as fuel, not threat
- 7+ years building trust the slow, unglamorous way
- Demonstrated knack for making the unpretentious feel manageable
- Working familiarity with temporary schedules and team norms at Sustainable Solutions Inc
- Curiosity that outpaces your current job description
- The grit to debug at 4pm on a Friday without complaint
At Sustainable Solutions Inc, an autonomy-driven Waco-based studio, the whole mission boils down to making Creativity feel effortless for everyone downstream. Every Enterprise Architect at Sustainable Solutions Inc owns an outcome, not just a checklist of tasks.
For your Creativity and 7 of grit, we offer $88,000 - $129,000, mentorship, benefits, and the flexibility to do Waco on your terms.
