Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg Tele position on a surgical/GI/oncology unit requiring TX or compact license and BLS certification.

• Position is located on a 30-bed Surgical/GI/Oncology unit
• Care involves both medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Uses Epic charting system
• Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• 13-week assignment
• Must wear navy or maroon scrubs
• Direct patient care delivery in accordance with established protocols
• Responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary care and discharge planning
• Ability to work under stress with minimal supervision required
• Full driver’s license copy, two references, and license/certification documentation required
• Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate per facility radius rule, which varies by state
• COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required

• Active TX or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg Tele experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days of start
• Full US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration
