American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Telemetry for a Med Surg/Cardiac Telemetry unit requiring 2+ years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.
- Work in a 29-bed Med Surg unit with a Cardiac and Telemetry patient population
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses Epic charting system
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- ACLS certification required (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Current Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Provide direct nursing care including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition
- Coordinate care across disciplines and assist with discharge planning
- Requires strong critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment
- Navy or maroon scrubs required
- Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
