American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics unit position requiring a TX or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

• 15-bed Neuro/Ortho Med Surg unit
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours (18:45-07:15)
• Uses Epic charting system
• Navy or maroon scrubs required

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start
• BLS certification required (must be AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Must provide full SSN and DOB for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

• Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans
• Coordinates care across disciplines and assists with discharge planning
• Requires strong critical thinking, independent judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to perform effectively in a stressful healthcare environment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
