Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ED experience.

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• PALS, ACLS, NRP, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications preferred (AHA where applicable)
• Current license and Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start

• 55-bed Emergency Department-Trauma unit
• 13-week assignment with a 11:00-23:30 shift schedule
• Uses Epic for charting
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established ED policies, procedures, and protocols
• Implement and monitor patient care plans while recording and communicating patient status
• Coordinate care across disciplines and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Assist with discharge planning in coordination with the healthcare team
• Navy scrubs required
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
