American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring at least 3 years of ICU experience and the ability to float between ICU and Step Down units.

• Work in a conglomerate ICU unit covering medical, surgical, and cardiovascular patients
• Shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length
• Float requirement between Critical Care ICU and Step Down units
• Patient population includes TAVR, CABG, CVA, respiratory distress, TNK, GIB, DKA, CEA, sepsis, fem pop, thoracotomy, STEMI, HF, CHF, and pneumonia cases
• Involves vent management, HFNC, TTM, IABP, Impella, and CRRT equipment use

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum of 3 years ICU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification may be required depending on unit group assignment
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start

• Care for critically ill patients with complex cardiovascular, respiratory, and medical-surgical conditions
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate depending on facility radius policy
• Candidates must have a US Social Security Number and US home address
• COVID vaccination is not required for this position
