Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Requirements:
Prior food service, customer service, and warehouse experience preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for receiving, storage, and inventory of all departmental supplies and foodstuffs, along with maintaining sanitation in storage areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inventory and maintain necessary food and other supplies to ensure efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
  • Store food and supplies in correct containers and in proper storage areas according to department guidelines to prevent spoilage.
  • Maintain records and logs documenting storage temperatures of perishable food items per standards.
  • Date, label, and rotate stock according to procedures to utilize oldest product first.
  • Order food and supplies based upon product specification as established by company ordering protocols and procedures.
  • Secure designated areas of potential theft, dangerous chemicals, supplies, and equipment to safeguard associates; follow all security procedures regarding storeroom organization.
  • Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure food or supplies arrive safely and intact.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Report needed maintenance or repairs of equipment to proper resources.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines.
  • Identify and utilize cleaning chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturers and per MSDS sheets; utilize equipment in performing job functions per department safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
