• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up‑sell opportunity including financial products.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Prospect for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold‑calling, and lead databases.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Attend training and continuing education courses.

• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Be a great self‑starter with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.

• Be capable of handling customer rejection.
• Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
• Ability to adapt to change, learn new things quickly, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• General Lines P&C and/or Life & Health license preferred (must obtain within 45 days).
