What We Are Looking For
Baylor University is seeking a Research Assistant in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. The research assistant will work in Dr. Lee's Micro/Nano Devices and Systems Laboratory.
Required:
A Bachelor's degree and less than a year of relevant work experience.
Preferred: A Bachelor's degree and less than a year of relevant work experience.
All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do- Support PhD students on active research projects involving implantable micro devices for bone growth applications, liquid metal artificial muscles, and electrochemical sensors for greenhouse gas detection
- Design, fabricate, and test device performance
- Procure and install laboratory equipment
- Maintain the lab with attention to chemical safety
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of research
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
- Ability to comply with university policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
