NIGHTS Saturday & Sunday, 8pm to 8am

This position is responsible for:

Monitors the activity of long-term residents participating in a residential rehabilitation or treatment program; ensures the safety, security, and compliance to house rules; maintains accurate and complete client and case records and logs containing pertinent information; ensures that the long-term housing facility is maintained in a neat and proper order; ensures compliance of the treatment plan and teaching skills are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitors the activities of the resident’s ensuring safety and compliance with long-term resident facility house rules; checks the security of all windows and doors; makes periodic rounds of entire facility; records any unique situations occurring on assigned shift.
  • Responds to emergencies in a calm manner and initiates appropriate corrective actions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Completes required paperwork representing client intake as well as daily case notes; inputs data into the computer in order to maintain client records.
  • Assists with all verbal and physical aggressions that might occur from residents
Physical Requirements and

Working Conditions:
  • Constant amount of physical effort required associated with hand movement, holding, finger dexterity, reading, writing, eye‑hand coordination, vision, hearing, talking and sitting at least 90% of the work time; rare to occasional amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, squatting, crawling, and reaching at least 30% of the work time.
  • Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
  • Work requires travel in order to conduct community and home visits.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred AND
  • one year experience performing security or social service work preferred,
    OR
  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and

Certifications:
  • Valid State Driver’s License
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within established timeframe)
