As a Security Officer – Access Control FT – Industrial in Woodway, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a manufacturing and industrial environment, including access control duties.
• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to observe for irregularities and help to deter potential security-related concerns.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities according to Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.
• Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter prohibited activities and provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
