We are seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Refrigeration Technician to maintain our state-of-the-art kitchens and onsite bakeries. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration systems, and HVAC equipment across our campus. Your work will help prevent equipment failures, minimize downtime, and support our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial cooking equipment
- Install, calibrate, and optimize kitchen ventilation and appliance systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety standards
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot technical issues
- Refrigeration:
Walk-in coolers/freezers, blast chillers, ice machines - Cooking Equipment:
Commercial ovens, fryers, steam kettles - Ventilation & HVAC:
Exhaust hoods, rooftop HVAC units, make-up air systems - Sanitation:
High-capacity dishwashers, sanitation systems

Minimum Qualifications- CFC Universal Certification
- EPA 608 certification
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Willing to relocate to Madison, WI
- COVID-19 vaccination
- At least 3 years of experience in:
- Commercial kitchen equipment service and repair
- Refrigeration systems installation and maintenance
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Gas-fired equipment and piping
