Ideal candidates include diesel technicians, heavy equipment mechanics, and aircraft technicians.

Must be skilled with diagnostics, schematics, and 480V systems.

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client to find a Field Service Technician in Waco, TX. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with nationwide locations that heavily invests in its workforce. There is unlimited room for career growth through on-site, factory-approved, computer-based, and classroom training (including forklift repair, if you bring a solid Mechanical background!).

The role is 90% in the field with real-time troubleshooting—local travel only, home nightly.

Compensation: $/hour base + OT, company vehicle, gas card, and a $2,500 interest-free tool loan.

What You Will Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain various industrial equipment, including newer battery-powered equipment and traditional diesel and gasoline machinery. Conduct diagnostics to identify malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
• Interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals related to forklifts and construction equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections; address issues as needed.
• Communicate repair needs, provide estimates, and explain work to customers, delivering exceptional customer service with professionalism.
• Maintain a clean and professional service van; report maintenance needs promptly.

Education and Work Experience:

• At least 4 years of US Military experience with Mechanical/Electrical MOS required.
• Strong knowledge of machine diagnostics, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Personable and professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Availability to work overtime, including occasional emergency service or weekend callouts.
• Technical knowledge in diagnostics, schematics, and repairs.
• Clear communication skills and professionalism.
