Immediate Opening: SOLO Floater Class A CDL Truck Driver – Ryder Waco, TX
We are looking for a dedicated trucker to join our team of drivers. Immediate opening.

Pay and Schedule
- $1,320 or more per week
- Solo Miles Pay: $0.565 per mile with 2,000 miles per week
- Solo Stops Pay: $19.00 per stop with 10–20 stops per week
- Paid Training
- Schedule:
Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday - Working 5–6 days per week

Touch – Hardware Equipment - Hazmat endorsement required – must obtain within 90 days of hire
- Trucks: 36 months or newer; 24/7 roadside maintenance; fuel at over 800 national facilities

Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass Ryder drug test
- Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (include last 3 years of employers)
- Pass DOT physical
- Pass Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements (Class A)
- Class A tractor‑trailer experience: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
- Maintain accurate records and logs
- Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer
- Perform other duties as assigned
