Immediate Opening: SOLO Floater Class A CDL Truck Driver – Ryder Waco, TX

We are looking for a dedicated trucker to join our team of drivers. Immediate opening.

Pay and Schedule

• $1,320 or more per week
• Solo Miles Pay: $0.565 per mile with 2,000 miles per week
• Solo Stops Pay: $19.00 per stop with 10–20 stops per week
• Paid Training

  Sunday–Thursday or Monday–Friday
• Working 5–6 days per week

  Lift gate and pallet jacks (Ryder will train)

  Touch – Hardware Equipment
• Hazmat endorsement required – must obtain within 90 days of hire
• Trucks: 36 months or newer; 24/7 roadside maintenance; fuel at over 800 national facilities

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder drug test
• Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (include last 3 years of employers)
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements (Class A)
• Class A tractor‑trailer experience: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in last 5 years OR 5 years in last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight or assist in loading/unloading as required by the customer
• Perform other duties as assigned
