Physical Therapist Assistant – Full Time

Good Samaritan Society in Waconia/Howard Lake is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our fun, outgoing, and supportive therapy team. This role offers variety across inpatient, outpatient, and mobile outpatient settings while making a meaningful impact in patients’ lives.

  • Salary Range: $24.00 – $38.50 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
  • Work with patients across inpatient, outpatient, and mobile outpatient settings.
  • Educate patients on exercises, safety, and home exercise programs (HEP).
  • Track progress and complete timely, accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifiers
  • Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure; must be a graduate through an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice; conforms to supervision and licensing standards.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment.
  • When applicable, may require a valid driver's license.
