Salary Range: $32.00 - $48.00
Support multiple long-term skilled care locations within 150 miles of your permanent address.
Additional $5 per hour float premium.
Additional $1.25 per hour evening/night shift differential; 6:00pm – 6:00am.
Required to work at least 30 hours per month and at least one weekend shift per month.
3-month previous experience in Long Term Care required, 6 months preferred.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with residents, families, and other interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, utilizing appropriate age and population-specific standards as designated in their clinical setting.
Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsible for care coordination, resident assessment, education, and various nursing interventions.
May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within their scope, skills, and resident care needs. Provides support to ensure safe, reliable resident care and addresses care and service concerns. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules of the state of practice and licensure.
The practice is based on the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses published by the American Nurses Association.
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited programs. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice and/or multistate licensure if in an NLC state. Maintains required competencies and certifications.
