Waconia Comfort is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician – Level 3 to join our growing, culture-first team. This role focuses on advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of residential and light commercial HVAC systems while assisting with training and mentoring Level 1–2 technicians. Position SummaryProvide high-quality maintenance and repairs on a wide range of residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems in accordance with company standards. Deliver an excellent customer experience while supporting the development of junior technicians.

Required QualificationsValid driver’s license with insurable driving record
EPA 608 Certification
NATE CORE + 1 Specialty or NFI Certification
Meet all Level 2 technician requirements and tool ownership
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Comfortable working from ladders and lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and brazing skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Willingness to invest in continued training and professional growth
Preferred QualificationsHVAC technical school certificate or equivalent experience
High school diploma or GED
EPA 608 Universal Certification
Additional NATE or NFI specialties
Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
Perform preventative maintenance independently
Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues and solutions
Program thermostats and interpret wiring diagrams
Educate customers on maintenance agreements and system upgrade options
Maintain professional appearance and attitude
Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
