Sir James Smith’s School is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable and inspiring Subject Leader of History to lead and further develop our History department. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher with the ambition and capacity to take on subject leadership. Sir James Smith’s School is a mixed 11-16 comprehensive, beautifully located on the North Cornish coast between Bude and Wadebridge, offering easy access to stunning beaches and countryside.

• Has the drive and organisational skills to lead curriculum development, assessment and improvement within History.
• Can build positive relationships quickly with students, colleagues and leaders.
