My client is a UK-based leader in the design, build, and operation of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine renewable energy systems. They offer a comprehensive 360-degree service, ensuring quality, innovation, and sustainable solutions at every stage.
Role SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Cornwall. The role involves ensuring the performance, efficiency, and safety of renewable energy installations across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on commercial PV systems
- Monitor system performance via online platforms, including weekend coverage
- Diagnose and respond to system faults proactively
- Provide technical feedback to improve site performance
- Complete daily reports and maintain accurate records
- Minimum 2 years' experience with commercial PV systems
- Methodical, accurate, and process-driven approach
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with IT systems and software
- Full UK driving license
- Willingness to travel across the UK, including evenings and weekends
Skills & Qualifications
- Training with inverter manufacturers
- CAD experience
- Experience with communication setup and remote monitoring systems
