We are currently looking for a Branch Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve branch sales, margin and targets.
  • Ensure first‑class service to all customers.
  • Drive the branch team, focusing on excellent customer service, communication and the achievement of sales and promotional targets.
  • Manage and control branch operating costs.
  • Maintain stock control, including stock taking and adjustments.
  • Handle cash and manage specific customer accounts.
  • Support senior management in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Communicate key aims and objectives to the team.
  • Oversee the daily running of all branch activities.
  • Maintain health and safety standards within the depot.
Success Criteria
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives.
  • Excellent communication at all levels.
  • Experience building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with online and Windows‑based cataloguing systems.
  • Leadership and team‑building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Sales focused with a can‑do attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise urgent versus important tasks.
  • Knowledge of the local area and customer base is desirable but not essential.
