Position: Research Associate Analytics (100%)

Glyco Era’s Analytics team is responsible for supporting research projects, product- and process development as well as the release of material for clinical studies by developing and performing state-of-the-art (glyco) protein analytical assays.

Tasks
  • Perform routine analytical testing of biomolecules, including proteins and glycans, using techniques such as HPLC, immunoassays, and classical biochemical methods.
  • Develop, optimize, execute, and qualify state-of-the-art analytical methods for the characterization of Glyco Era’s product candidates as well as process- and product-related impurities, including ELISA, U/HPLC, CE-SDS, and related techniques.
  • Independently execute analytical research and development projects.
  • Analyze, interpret, document, and present analytical data in scientific meetings and project discussions.
  • Perform laboratory equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and general laboratory support activities.
Requirements

You are an efficient, proactive, and quality-focused individual with the following qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant industry experience in biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Hands‑on experience with protein analytical techniques, including HPLC, ELISA, and CE‑SDS, is essential.
  • Solid understanding of protein biochemistry and analytical characterization, including post‑translational modifications such as glycosylation.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and laboratory databases.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to generating accurate, reliable, and high‑quality data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, multicultural team environment.
