Groundman / Construction Laborer – Utility & Electrical Construction

$38.41/HOUR PREVAILING WAGE | STARTS OCTOBER 26 | HIRING ASAP

Power Labor is hiring dependable Groundmen and Construction Laborers to support electrical, utility, and heavy construction crews. If you have construction experience, work hard, and are ready to get started, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

• Assist electricians and linemen with tools, materials, cables, and equipment.
• Dig holes, excavate trenches, and assist with underground utility installation.
• Operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, rotary hammers, and chainsaws.
• Load and unload materials, clean jobsites, and set up safety barriers.
• Assist with traffic control and maintain safe work zones.
• Perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Requirements – Non-Negotiable

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Construction or general labor experience preferred; electrical experience is a plus, not required.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
• Ability to perform physical labor and follow safety instructions.

Location & Travel
Projects are typically within an hour of the local area. Candidates should be local to the Perram shop but willing to travel to other job sites. Out-of-town assignments include hotel accommodations and $15 per diem.
