ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision, creates basic to moderately complex instrumentation, controls, and related systems designs using 3D and 4D drafting programs. Reviews simple to complex component level shop drawings. Creates basic human-machine interface (HMI) designs, programmable logic controllers (PLC), reports, etc. Assists with testing and startup of instrumentation, controls and related systems. Assists with the development of basic to moderately complex operations & Maintenance manuals for designed systems.
Develops basic technical memoranda related to design issues for clients. Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or in Engineering Technology or related discipline. 0 years. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with AutoCAD electrical and various control systems (i.e. Rockwell, ABB, Siemens…)
- Experience and interest working with P&IDs, control hardware selection, control system architecture, panel layouts
Travel required:
10%.
Basic knowledge of instrumentation, controls and related systems designs. Good communication skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office suite of programs. Moderate knowledge of 3D and 4D CAD drafting.
